My stay at the hotel was a mix of lovely surprises and a few disappointments. The rooms were sumptuous with some special touches like champagne on arrival, chocolates, and freshly made cookies, although they were smaller than expected and quite dark due to poor lighting which didn't complement the dark decor. The service was top-notch, with staff going out of their way to be friendly and helpful, though there was a minor issue with housekeeping leaving a window open causing rain damage. The location was excellent, offering a relaxing haven just a couple of miles from the city center, surrounded by greenery, including a putting green we enjoyed. The dining experience, while not as strong as other offerings, was still enjoyable, especially set against the stunning backdrop. Overall, a great stay with a few areas for improvement.
